It's not particularly warm out, but I'm rounding out today's daylight hours with a Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur 1066 Dark Knight. Next Saturday is supposed to be the first day out on the water for 2010, but it better get a Helluva lot warmer than this! AK

Game On!

The Super Air got a new cap and rotor, new plugs and a new fuel filter, but the real stickler was this little piece of fuel line and two cheap shit crimped-on hose clamps. This little piece of hose lives inside the fuel cannister somewhere and had come a little loose. Thus, fuel pressure was lost at this level and not getting to the engine. Once the mechanic trouble shot it down to this level and replaced it with a new piece of hose and "real" hose clamps VROOM! The ol' girl roared to life! Ah yes...the boat's ready to go! AK

Unforeseen Hurdle

My mechanic changed The Super Air's fuel filter and now the ol' girl doesn't want to start. Part of my pride of this boat is that is always powerfully roars to life whenever called upon to do so. I hate shiz like this.

Last week I power washed and treated my canvas. The water beading-up on the canvas shows that the treatment is doing its job. I love it when things happen the way they're supposed to. AK
