Pat at Old Time Cigar Shop has told me "There are two times you don't want to be in Beach Haven: 4th of July and Chowderfest." Well, we're at The Gateway in Ship Bottom and it's crowded with Chowderfest spill-over.

The river is flat and beautiful, but it is absolutely FULL of floatimg logs and trees. I towed all the way here but there's not way to use this water today. I've never seen it like this.
