New Kicks for Kinon
Team Hawthorne went to the movies tonight and saw Super 8 in Imax. The theater is in the mall so we hit Quiksilver, Roxy and Vans stores afterwards. Here I am with a pair of new Vans that I tried-on, liked and purchased.

They grow up fast...
On Sunday we took an evening cruise with Kenny. She did actually drive the the boat for a few feet...then steered right toward the Marsh. Seeing as I have been there done that...I intervened. We had a nice cruise regardless. KG

Gas Spring Presto Change-o
One of The Super Air's engine cover gas props broke. I picked-up a new one at the boat store, but I soon learned the cause of the spring break was a snapped bolt on the support frame. A thirty second spring change turned into hour-and-a-half surgery, but I got it done and it's as good as new.
