Monthly Newsletter - August 2009 Upcoming Events!!! It's nearing that time of year again.... "North v. South" "The Battle of the Poles" "The NJ Showdown" "The Hopatcong Huckfest" Call it what you like, but it's like no other…It's the second annual, Garden State Wakeoff!!! Based on last year's success and huge turnout of riders, this year's Wakeoff is going to be a 2-day event! And to fairly square-up the teams and even-out the playing field, Wakeoff organizers are going to hold a special "Draft" for non New Jersey Riders which will be broadcast LIVE on STOKEMETER.COM a couple weeks before the event! (stay tuned for details) Representatives from team south and team north will select the out-of-state riders through several rounds of draft picks, much like an NFL draft. There will be a total of 20 out of state riders drafted, 10 per team! This will be very cool! Also, Don't forget to Register yourself to compete in this years event. Remember this is all brought to you by the good folks at Lake Hopatcong Marine. So get out your wakeboards and get ready to bring everything you got to the table to help your team to the podium!
